People Voted for Obama Not for Social Closeness; They Wanted to get Stimulied!

It is interesting that the online social networks and bloggers worked very hard to insure that the then very junior Senator Barack Obama was elected. Many took this as an endorsement that the younger generation was embracing a sort of online socialism, or social collaboration and collectivism, but that is hardly the case. You see, people voted for President Obama because he promised them the world, not the online world, rather a dream of a Utopia in the real world.

In fact, his political opponents made fun of his insane promises that they realized were just not workable, namely you cannot give people everything they want, pay them whatever they want and still run a free-market system to deliver everything that your promised. Ah, the allure of socialism and communism theory, only one problem, these types of societies only look good on paper and in reality they are not sustainable long-term. (Cite: Human History).

Just because social bloggers and the millennials went to work promoting Barack Obama does not mean they voted for what he really stands for, you see they have no idea how damaging socialism really is. The social networking, text-messaging, and twittering crowd were used by the Obama campaign's promoters - just like Hezbollah and Hamas are using FaceBook to recruit bloggers and supporters, and money to their cause.

Further, it is ridiculous to purport that because social networks are huge collectives of young people that these young voters really understand the ever lasting effects and problems that come with socialism. They have never lived in a socialist nation, and they are too young to understand.

Additionally, academia has re-written all the textbooks, and the kids cheat on the tests anyway. They don't have a clue, they just want all the wonderful free stuff Obama promised them? Well, they can't have it and soon they will figure that out and support someone else.

Why On Earth Would Our President Believe Iranians Nuclear Ambitions Are Only Peaceful?

President Obama seems to not be taking the Iranian Threat seriously, although perhaps it is a different story behind the scenes. For anyone to believe that Iran's nuclear ambition are purely peaceful and for generation power to its people, sure doesn't understand much about Iran's government, the Mullahs or the history of its proxy sponsorship of international terrorist groups such as Hamas or Hezbollah.

A recent poll by the Rand Corporation noted that in the Persian Gulf region alone, "53 percent of respondents did not believe Iran's nuclear ambitions to be peaceful." And that is not all, also according to a Rand Report; "An Iraqi official asserted that Tehran is; "the most active terrorism
sponsor in the world"."

Interestingly enough, that is their own team talking so any denial on our part is simply ludicrous. Worse, it is a reality that most Arabs in neighboring nations in the region and throughout the Middle East are quite concerned, worried and some downright scared out of their wits, because a nuclear weaponized Iran could give all Arabs a bad name, especially if they threaten to use such a weapon or proxy terrorists end up with such a device, and potentially use it.

Nuclear experts also worry about a nuclear accident in a nuclear power plant within a known Earthquake Zone, which is a really good possibility, if Iran does not come clean with the IAEA and trust the system. Iran should not go about its peaceful nuclear generation plans without the assistance of the free world, and it needs to be monitored to prevent the use of nuclear material being made into a weapon.

Is Obama Going to Do Something About North Korea or Just Run and Hide?

It looks as if our President is learning the hard way that international affairs and crisis do not simply go away when you ignore them. Now, North Korea is challenging the international community and in direct defiance of the United States' strong suggestion that they abandon their nuclear weapons manufacturing and testing. North Korea has no detonated two nuclear weapons and conducted several ICBM – Intercontinental Ballistic Missile tests.

For all the criticizing of the Bush Administration, President Obama has not been able to turn the tide on any of the international crisis. In fact, he's made virtually no difference. Although some could argue that every single enemy or quasi hostile nation to the US has tested him. Nations like Iran, Venezuela, Cuba, North Korea, and even Russia. They will continue to do so unless he makes a stand to do something about it.

North Korea is really causing problems in the world with their nuclear weapons test and by us standing by and doing nothing, it gives more power to Iran to do the same, and they will. Then these nations will use this new found power to challenge us and other nations. This causes problems for the regions and all of our allies, they are worried.

North Korea is surrounded by US Allies, some of our closest allies in fact; South Korea, Japan, and our biggest trading partner China. We can no longer sit around and negotiate, that has not worked before and will not work in the future. The more we are challenged by North Korea, the power and leverage it gives to Iran in their nuclear weapons exploits. Please consider all this.

Millennials Like to Work In a Collaborative Environment

In the field of human resources there has probably been more advice given in the last decade on how to deal with Millennial Employees than just about any topic. One of the most interesting things we are told is that these young employees like to feel important, so they need constant praise. We are also aware of the fact that they like to work in a collaborative environment.

However, as a business owner or a middle manager of a large corporation dealing with such people you must realize that giving false praise will lead to mediocrity and false expectations of advancement within the company, this can have ever reaching negative consequences. On the issue of working in a collaborative environment, there are some real challenges with this too.

First, often the Millennial Generation does not have the experience, expertise, or knowledge to be giving advice or input to a decision making group, no matter what level. Let me tell you a story. At a local well-known business college, several working adults, baby boomers were put with three Millennials to collaborate on making a fictitious business plan for a new concept company as a class project.

The younger generation (kids, as they were referred to by the baby boomers), can to the table with incoherent ideas, half-backed marketing plans, and financial capital funding plans that were based on a fantasy dream. Worse, they went on to the Internet and looked up half the stuff and copied much of it a couple of days before the project was to be completed.

Then when giving the presentation, they deferred to the Baby Boomers whenever a tough question was asked by the class or instructor. After the project was done the teacher awarded each participant of every group achievement awards and treated the millennials as stars. The Baby Boomers, well one of them quite the college and started their own business, got funding and is now hiring, but definitely no Millennial Generation kids.

The other finished their degree and swore that they'd never hire anyone from that generation again, even if it meant discriminating on age. Amazing really, but it really does not surprise me. Thus, it brings me back to the reason for this article.

If you have to give false praise to workers to get them to work, then you don't need them. And if you have to pretend to let them in on the decision making process through collaboration to keep them feeling good about themselves, then are these really the type of employees that you want? Think on that.

Obama Picks Politically Correct Supreme Court Choice; Hispanic Woman, but Why?

It's not politically correct to point out the insanity of political correctness, but it should be otherwise how do you keep it all in check? Currently, we have a President, yes the President of the United States who is more about being politically correct than he is about common sense and doing what needs to be done.

As expected Obama has worked very hard to better the socially acceptable nomination to the Supreme Court over his predecessor George Bush II, if you will recall President Bush, one of our finer Presidents nominated a Hispanic Man to the Supreme Court. But President Obama not wishing to be undone, goes a step further and nominates a Hispanic Woman to the Court.

As I understand it, the buzz around Washington DC was that he was looking for a Homosexual Hispanic Woman or a Muslim Black Gay Woman, but could not find one that was not without background issues, which could have put challenges to the nomination. Still, it appears that we are allowing our President to first choose the ethnicity, sexual orientation, and sex of the person, then look at credentials.

In America, we are suppose to allow the best person, be it male or female, gay or straight, and regardless of age, religion or nationality. If we are continually disqualifying all people who are not considered minorities, then we are denying our promise to the nation. Further, Hispanic Folks are no longer minorities in most major cities in the US anymore.

Thus, even if one succumbs to the politically correct minority status and minority advantage they do so in hypocrisy as Hispanic people are not a minority at all. So, in reality this choice speaks of hypocrisy, as it shows just how unjust and unfair we really are, and to the ridiculous lengths we go to try to prove we aren't. This choice for the Supreme Court is not about who is the best, but which choice helps President Obama's political career, belief system and dare I say; racist mindset.

Oh Give Me a Break – You Cannot Win The Hearts and Minds of Terrorists Obama

Isn't it truly amazing what a 100-days in office will do to a devout Democrat? Here we have President Obama, which many consider the poster boy of the Global Socialist Party, although that might be a little over the top; a man who told us he would delete Gitmo Prison, pull the troops out of Iraq and make friends in the Middle East? He also tells us of how bad torture is that that this is not what America stands for, promising to release any pictures or tapes of any such events that occurred.

Oh, but now things are different, now that he gets to look at all the security briefings and sees just how things are really going on in the world, well, suddenly he is a different man. And just think it only took the gentleman 100-days to figure out that all his pre-election rhetoric and nonsense was not only severely mistaken, actually it was a lie, one he perpetuated against the lens of reality.

Senator Obama was hot on the campaign trail promising us that it was far better to win the hearts and minds of the terrorists, insurgents and our enemies. Well, a lot of good that has done us. In 100-days he's met with many of America's most vocal nation-state leader detractors, so what does he say to do now? He has increased the military presence in Afghanistan, why? Because as a war President he knows that he cannot lose a war and stay in power or keep decent approval ratings.

He also knows that giving cake and cookies to terrorists is not going to get them to stop plotting and planning the attacks on civilian populations, our allies or fighting to destroy our assets, troops or interests abroad. Just think, he is a fast learner, it only took him 100-days to wake up from his naïve dream world of a Utopia that would merely occur after a few speeches about "Change!" Give me a break, you cannot win the hearts and minds of terrorists, that is simply absurd.

The US Dollar is No Good and US Losing AAA Rating; Yah Sure

It is always interesting to hear people talk about doom and gloom of the mighty super power, yes I speak of the United States of America. More interesting perhaps is how every time the detractors of the dollar are wrong. The US Credit rating was said to be cut from its AAA Status, and everyone was worried that the dollar was sunk, sure enough folks began trading out of US Dollars.

Then not more than a couple of days later, what happens? Everything turns around because North Korea's Kim Jong Il tells the world that they have detonated a second nuclear weapon in an underground test. Did they, or was it an Earthquake; hard to say, as the first reports had already come out. If it was an Earthquake it registered 4.7 on the Richter Scale, but if it was a nuclear detonation, well that would make sense too.

This one event cause the US Dollar to go hyperbolic up nearly 10% on the day before settling back down, and yet, still finishing up, even after the whole world got done saying that the dollar was dead. The reality is that the dollar is not dead and it is considered the safest place to park your money. The South Korean "Won" fell drastically in a dramatic sell off.

It seems every time we are told that the US is no longer a super power, that the dollar is dead, or that the United States economy is in ruin, what happens? Why, everyone fleas to the dollar at moment's notice or the least bit of trouble in the world - think on this.

Well by now the pattern of my view on all things human is becoming too predictable?
Never the less it remains clear to me that "utopia"is more akin to the expectations embedded within Capitalism.

In the abstract or the ideals of this society, one is inculcated with the belief that anyone can make it with the right attitude, you know that "can do" spirit and perserverance. This utopian mind set is cause for much unnecessary self- abasement for those who are not able to realize the playing field is not even.

For one to argue that it is even, only supports my argument that the utopian mind set exist in a Capitalistic society.
